Trend I'm Loving: Matching Sets




I love the matching top & bottom trend right now, it is perfect for spring and summer. I live on the east coast and it's just now starting to get cool. Which gives me a few more weeks to rock this trend before the winter weather kicks in. 

The one great thing about these outfits is that you can style the top on it's own with skinny jeans or a pencil skirt or style the bottoms with a plain white v-neck. This style is very versatile. I am on the hunt for a few matching top & bottoms pieces now.

I think Peplum tops look great on girls and woman of all ages and sizes. It's a great piece to have in your closet, darks colors for winter and bright colors for summer. Definitely buying a lot of these this spring.

Trend I'm Loving: Loafers

It's funny that loafers are in style right now, because I wore a pair in college that I got from a random store, and thought they were so cute. I wore them til they broke, which was pretty much 2 months later. Lol.

Anyways, loafers are a great way to mix up your outfits, especially if you're a flat lover. They're more masculine than ballet flats. Great from work, school, lunch dates, shopping, etc.

Trend I'm Loving: Sheer Blouses

I've been on the hunt for a sheer blouse for a year now. It's not that they're hard to find, but it's hard to find the RIGHT one that I want (and in my price range). I think every girl should have one sheer blouse in their closet, they're so versatile! You can wear them to work, a party, a date, in the summer, winter, fall, etc... you get where I'm going with this. They are definitely worth the money, and whenever I do find the right one for me I'm buying every color! Lol. Also, I'll let you all know where I found it OR if you've seen a cute one somewhere LET ME KNOW!!!!


Examples of how you can style them:
* Summer - with a pair of blue jean shorts
* Fall - a patterned sweater over it with a pair of skinny jeans and flats (or heels)
* Winter - a trench or pea coat over it with a pair of dark skinny jeans and dressy boots
* Spring - brightly colored skinny belt around the waist and a (casual) pencil skirt and a pair of ankle boots

* Work - tucked in a pencil skirt (plain or pattern) with a bold necklace underneath and your cutest heels

* Party - with a pair of dressy shorts and ankle boots or dressy heels, statement earrings and a cute clutch.
